So I went and colored my hair a medium brown to try to cover the grey and their idea of medium turns out to be a whole lot darker than my idea of medium.
It's really dark. Really dark. I can already feel the obligatory teen angst rising within me, but at least I'll blend in with all of the Cathedral/Goth kids at school. Eh, but then Halloween is right around the corner and the dark hair really goes with the spirit of it all. Speaking of Halloween.....there's a new sparkle spiderweb design going up on the Keychains page tomorrow, most likely.The morning comes early. Even on the weekends. Why is it that you wake them up at 5:45 and they scream like some one's done shot their dog and yet when they wake up all on their own at 5:47, all seems to be right with the world. It's just not fair. Sweet gardening dreams.

ReplyDeleteLOL, I think the hair looks great. I quit coloring mine a couple years ago, much to Mr. Granny's distress. Laziness on my part, I just hate trying to keep the white roots covered. Besides, my ash blond turns neon yellow after about four shampoos.
Meant to add, your Halloween hair looks better than my daughter's. Her medium brown turned out Jack 'o Lantern orange in the sunlight.
ReplyDeleteThanks, guys! I think I'll get used to it pretty quickly, but it does make me pretty pasty looking. Granny, I'll never keep it up, which is why I've put off doing it for so long, but I'm a pretty dark brown anyway, so when this fades hopefully it won't skunk so much when it grows out.

Oh, and it is a nose ring. Hear that, Mom? It's a nose ring. A genuine, bonified, certified nose...okay, so it's not, but whatever. ;)

ReplyDeleteThis made me laugh because I just went through it 2 weeks ago! My hair was brown, blond, green from chlorine, couple of grays, you name it! I went and bought some "medium ash brown" and when it came out my son called it "Border Collie Black" LOL! So I look like a 40 year old Goth Mom now, box says it washes out in about 2 months, I hope so! I'm still looking for the box that says "mousy brown" which is my natural color :)
