Victory

It only took five years, but I've grown peppers.

  3. Thanks, guys! Too bad I can't stand the things. .. It was the principle of the thing. I couldn't do it, so I tried five different locations until I came up a victor...now I'll take them all to the school because I couldn't just grow one - now I've got a mountain.

    There's always hope with potatoes! Try new locations. One every five years!!

  4. Congrats! I I'm not a quitter either. I'm always trying for corn. I can grow it on the plots in Alabama I'll be darned if FLorida is going to keep me form growing it - I keep trying. LOL.

  6. Congrats on your pepper, I am growing California bell peppers, habanero, jalapeno, and Hungarian wax peppers and we don't eat them either! I like giving them away though.

    Is school out, I am expecting more posts!

  7. So, do you have the same loathing for RIPE peppers? A lot of people who are not fond of the green ones like them a lot better when they're allowed to ripen.

  8. In my experience once you conquer something you have it from then on. Red bells are tasty, tasty. I don't like green ones so much.
