Note, now that I've said this, we'll have a freak freeze, but so far, we're looking good even for the next ten days.
I wonder if this will really be a nice and mild winter, or if we'll catch up in the end. Easter weekend is usually our last frost, and it has been a doozy in the past.
Lettuce and broccoli are loving it!
I actually just might be able to put my own veggies on the table for Thanksgiving, something I wasn't able to do last year because of heavy frosts. That will be very cool.

That broccoli head looks delicious! We have had frost but nothing close to hard enough to kill the hardy stuff.

ReplyDeleteYou people are sooooo lucky. No frost still in November???? Our first one was in AUGUST. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous head of broccoli Ribbit. We generally do not get a first frost until well into November, but even at that we are late too. Not complaining though - as we had a significant and harsh winter last year and could use a little break this year.
