I love veggie pie. Have I mentioned how much I love veggie pie? Never mind. I know I have. I like how it's so versitile that you can put whatever you want in it. This time I used up extra frozen brussle sprouts, zucchini from last year's garden and onion, garlic, rosemary, oregano and parsley from this year's garden.
Yes, I ate a piece of crust before I took the picture.
I love veggie pie!
The morning comes early. Sweet gardening dreams.

This looks great! Is this a creamy based mixture or is it a quiche? Hard to tell from the pic but either way it looks delish!
ReplyDeleteQuiche like, but only with 2 eggs. What makes it perfect is the brown mustard you spread on the crust before you fill it. You wouldn't believe it, but it makes a HUGE difference!
ReplyDeleteAh, well your love of veggie pie is my love of quiche. :-) I love me a good quiche, and after all a good quiche has veggies, too.
ReplyDeleteOoooooohhhhhh!!! I saw this photo on my Google Reader and I immediately had to fine out what it was. Looks delish!
ReplyDeleteIt's the best, the best, the best. I know I've posted the recipe here somewhere.
ReplyDeleteGG, I'm in Winder, GA which is somewhat between Atlanta and Athens
Looks good!
ReplyDeleteBrown mustard...I wouldn't have guessed that, but I will take your word for it.
Yum. I like it too. Well I like veggie quiche. I've never made it with mustard.
ReplyDeleteI have just discovered that mustard enhances the taste of a good caesar salad. Just add and mix a little to any creamy caesar dressing and it will taste like it would in a really good restaurant.
ReplyDeleteThat looks nice! Can wait to start harvesting soon and eating healthier again.
ReplyDeleteRibbit thats a mouse bite that you've taken from the veggie pie :)
ReplyDeleteThis weekend i was wearing my 'Pay It Forward' Tshirt and it made me think of you.
So, So, so glad you get to use it!
ReplyDeletemmm that looks delicious! I'm going to have to try that mustard idea...
