I usually say "The morning comes early," which isn't a lie. It usually does.
But when you never get to go to bed, the morning looks far off, indeed.
The girl brought home yuck-foo (the crud, stomach bug, virus, whatever) on Friday and she's gracefully shared it with us. The man started feeling it around 9:00 last night. I got it around midnight and now the boy has woken up. He hasn't horked yet but he knows he doesn't feel right so he and the man are soothing their sick bellies with Batman cartoons while I fiddle on the computer and wait for the next wave.
At least it's a school holiday.
Hope everyone stays yuck-foo-free.

I hope you guys get to feeling better.
ReplyDeleteThat sucks...the yuck-foo paid a visit to our home a couple of weeks ago. Luckily, I was spared, but Jonathan and Marc...not so much. Hopefully you're getting some sleep now!
ReplyDeleteI have one G Daughter in preschool and one in 1st grade. Every thing they bring home Pap pap gets. Right now it’s a chest infection that is taking for ever to clear up. :( John
ReplyDeleteSo sorry Ribbit! Feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteThanks, guys. I think we're on the mend. The stars aligned and both kids took naps today so we caught up on sleep, ourselves. The man and I feel weak, but aren't fighting for the bathroom anymore, so there's a light.
ReplyDeleteMany wishes for a speedy recovery! The stupid firewall at work wouldn't let me go to your blog, but now i'm at home, yay!
