If it makes you feel any better I got them too. I couldn't believe it, stinking hot weather.
I am convinced you can't get rid of them down South in our heat. All you can do is plant early and plant a lot of plants. That is what I am trying, but I am frustrated too.
Everything is early this year. I went out of town and my mint was wiped out by spider mites. The web went from the top of the plant to the bottom and the mites were crawling up and down. I've never seen so many before. Not even going to ask what next.
Just my reaction to the leaf miners. They came way too early.
ReplyDeleteThat has to be the shortest blog post in history.
ReplyDeleteI could match it....
Leaf Miners? Already!?
Dammit.

ReplyDeleteI think a lot of things are hitting the garden early this year. Dammit.

ReplyDeleteHow is your leg?
TIcks are bad this year, too. Very bad around here. The leg is good, Peggi! Thanks for asking. The ordeal is over and I'm stronger for it.
ReplyDeleteNOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! I'm late checking in, now I wish I hadn't LOL! My summer squash and zukes just sprouted!
ReplyDeleteNo squash bugs but I did find thousands of aphids on my spinach. I just had to pick it all and wash those bugs down the drain.
ReplyDeleteI hope this isn't a sign of things to come.
Grasshopper nymphs here... ALREADY!!! It's going to be really bad because of our mild winter!
ReplyDeleteSigh...
Want to borrow a couple of my ducks?
