That Errand...

Looks like I should have darted out for the beer and frozen pizza after all. Schools are closed today. Yes, this is the extent of the snow, and this is your cue to snicker, but it's the ice on the roads that is causing the difficulty. Minimal ice, but ice none-the-less, and we're ill equipped to handle the situation.

Regardless, it's still funny.

Whereas the beer and pizza would have been prudent, who needs the traditional snow-cry of the Southern man of "white bread and milk" anyway when you've got biscuits with Stefaneener's "sweet honey" as the boy calls it. Perfection in a jar.

The morning will come cold and early. Sweet gardening dreams.

  2. A few snickers coming from Maine for the snow that caused the closings. Ice is slippery no matter what your experience. Stay warm, stay safe.

  4. Well no other way to get days off for much else in GA- hope you had some beer stockpiled and you had fun with the kids :) Little brother had to stay in a hotel last night because his tiny car could not handle the ice out west of ATL.

  5. Thanks funny. It is quite dangers however to drive on icy roads without the know how or winter tires. I've been sideways a few times and almost into a pole once. Stay safe!

  7. Colder than you expect, is still cold, no matter the absolute numbers. We aren't well equipped for 30s and 40s here, therefore they're cold. Hang in there, even if you only have honey!
