Who's Been Eating My Blueberry Bushes?!

Found these little buggers today. There's four of them that have munched this leaf into oblivion. Any idea what in the world they could be?

They're pretty ugly, I'll tell you that much.

The morning comes early. Sweet gardening dreams.

  1. wow, interesting photo! Some caterpillars that look like that are actually poisonous! Not sure what you have in your area, though.

  2. I dont know what those are, but I know what has been eating our peppers. Stink bugs!! And I hate to use pesticide!! We've lost more bell peppers than we gathered.

  3. Man, those are ugly! Took some time to find it, but I found out they're saddleback caterpillars. I finally found this site. Not the friendliest site, but it worked! : http://www.discoverlife.org/mp/20q?guide=Caterpillars

If that's what they are, don't touch 'em!

  5. Those are some freaky looking bugs and do look just like the wiki photo. I had a run in with a huge cicada in the garden yesterday. It freaked out when I came near it and I ran like a girl :-)
