We still live by a field and see them in the woods around us, but thankfully they haven't gotten in the house yet. I'm sure it's just a matter of time.Ribbithttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01460673212389110633noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4930778534030920874.post-40271337237077305662009-06-23T11:59:07.464-04:002009-06-23T11:59:07.464-04:00I've seen peppers in decorative jars with garl...I've seen peppers in decorative jars with garlic & olive oil... Maybe you could do something like that as a gift or your own decoration? The oil would even be really tasty.Momma_Shttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00777829150647394160noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4930778534030920874.post-83403562324412295152009-06-23T11:57:24.145-04:002009-06-23T11:57:24.145-04:00Hey Ribbit! I might do that.

I am growing Cayenne peppers for the only reason that you can use them to drive away mice. They said to take the seeds and spread them near any food that mice would get into (like a Bisquick box) and that would keep them at bay. Now, I haven't used this method yet but I thought, why not! Then you dont have to worry about the toxic fumes.

JenJenGChttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13737415352788082656noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4930778534030920874.post-15374911872338190412009-06-23T06:21:34.630-04:002009-06-23T06:21:34.630-04:00Momma_S, you've got to try it. It just took so long to peel those potatoes, but it was worth it in the end.

You know, I can't stand anything with even a little heat to it. I grew these because they were pretty and now don't know what to do with them. I've been giving them to neighbors.Ribbithttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01460673212389110633noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4930778534030920874.post-83977887883309007562009-06-23T06:19:26.707-04:002009-06-23T06:19:26.707-04:00Granny, you're the ultimate cheese. :) Just ...Granny, you're the ultimate cheese. :) Just not that super stinky sort.Ribbithttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01460673212389110633noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4930778534030920874.post-91752578660581627352009-06-23T06:18:36.370-04:002009-06-23T06:18:36.370-04:00EG, it is a lot of cucumbers! As a matter of fact, I've got another I have to make today! I know we payed a ton up front to start the boxes and the costs aren't offset yet, but in the long, long run, it's going to be a great money saver.Ribbithttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01460673212389110633noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4930778534030920874.post-353550355924837932009-06-23T06:16:52.306-04:002009-06-23T06:16:52.306-04:00Shawn Ann, I was totally amazed at how good the po...Shawn Ann, I was totally amazed at how good the potatoes were!Ribbithttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01460673212389110633noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4930778534030920874.post-39322059975882900092009-06-23T02:10:15.080-04:002009-06-23T02:10:15.080-04:00I wanted to read your post real quick before headi...I wanted to read your post real quick before heading to bed, and now my tummy is rumbling!
